I made this card for this week's Waltzingmouse sketch challenge...and dedicating it to my step-father who had open heart surgery last week. He's making a slow recovery, and I just wanted to let him know that I was thinking about him. Hope he doesn't mind butterflies!

Andrea, he will love this- it has your heart all over it! (lol- when I saw it, my first thought was, "Oh, this has Ewen all over it!") This sketch is wonderful and I love your seam binding and stick pins. Gorgeous my friend. Hugs....

Andrea, I was very flattered to have you comment on one of my cards as I am a HUGE fan of yours. I've been in awe of your work for quite some time. I have a lot of them copied onto my desktop wondering how in the heck can I do something like this. Obviously, I'm still thinking. If I ever do, I'll give you credit. This is such an amazingly beautiful card and will be well received by your stepfather. My late father had open heart surgery several years ago and it does take time and depending on age and health issues too, but he did well. My prayers go out to him. Have a wonderful day Andrea and keep putting out those beauties!
